How Breakfast Isn’t The Most Important Meal of The Day

We all know that all health experts recommend to have a breakfast in the morning and it is the most importantmeal of the day as it helps in fast metabolism and providing people with needed energy to start their working day normally and feel more energized asnd powerful.


But this does not mean you need to froce yourself for eating breakfast in the morning or having a breakfast is not wrong too!

So Today I will mention the reasons why you can skip breakfast and others for having a healthy one!

Why You Can Go Without

First let us begin, when you wake up early in the morning you may realize that you are not really hungry so you just grab a cereal bar high in sugar and additives or you may pass by espresso and order for a coffee cup. Well what you are doing in this case is just causing a spike in insulin level in just 30 minutes!



Secondly, you wake up in the morning and then you decide to start your day by eating healthy breakfast just to follow health claims and you will start the day with cereals, eggs,orange juice and bacon Well what you did is just to feel more tired than you wake up. This is not what you want.


So in both situations the breakfast was not a good idea for your health and you just feel tired and you make unhealthy choices. The reason is due to unhealthy carbs and sugar choices.


The Fix

In these situations it is better to skip breakfast as eating this meal worsen their case. So by just skipping breakfast and wait until they become hungry their energy level may be normal or even higher. Moreover, they will not feel tired or bloated.


You need to center your time toward important things other than food like dehydration, circadian rhythm, and breathing.


While you sleep you may sweat as the room is hot and you were with no food or water for 6-8 hours. This lead to dehydration and water loss so what you can do is to drink 8-10 oz glass of water, lemon juice and salt once you wake up. This drink helps you to restore lost water and electrolytes.


As far as circadian rhythm, we need light to wake up and darkness to sleep. So what you can do in the morning is to sit in the sunlight to feel more energized.


While sleeping we do a low and slow breathing pattern. This doesn’t really pull in a lot of oxygen because we don’t necessarily need it at that resting state. Once you wake up you really need to oxygenate your brain and blood so you need to have deep breath. Pair these breathing methods with a cold shower and you won’t even need coffee to wake up.


You’re not going to starve

Most of peolple think they will have a slow metabolism if they skip breakfast but this is not true as it is not a long fasting. Moreover, it is better to give your body a break frm digestion and it helps you to get rid of toxins from the day before.


If you are starving but you really want to skip breakfast then you have two choices. You could just eat something, or you could have something like a healthier coffee that will stave off your hunger for a while.


But I like My Breakfast

Some people really enjoy breakfast but what really matters is just to pick up right choices that fits your daily routine and yet keep your choices healthy.


Think Healthy

So when you think about healthy food you directly think about fruits and vegetables. They are good option that keep jink food at bay. Moreover, you can enjoy them with protein spread but just keep the ratio of veggie to fruit around 3:1 so you don’t get to big of an insulin spike.


Just Watch the Carbs

The main reason that carbs get a bad reputation is the insulin/sugar spike but this is due to the poor carbs choices like processed and refined ones. Well wat you can do is to choose complex and whole grains carbs while addig high protein and fat sources to improve satiety and to keep insulin level under control.


High fat content at the breakfast meal is important for your brain to work normally. If you normally consume some sugar laden cereal, you may have noticed a phenomenon called “brain fog”. You literally feel like there is fog around your brain. However, with a high fat/high protein breakfast in your belly, you’ll be focused and actually be able to think straight.


Conclusion:

You need to remeber thay everything you choose need to fit your ifestlye and suit your body. Dont do anything just because it is popular or claimed as "healthy".
