What to Do When You Cheat on Your Diet

You were following healthy diet for several weeks and you are feeling good yet your weight goal become closer.Everything is okay until your have reached the cheat day.

Sometimes a piece of chocolate can lead to 4 pieces consumption or cheating may happen suddenly after a birthday day. Well know you feel guilty and you are not happy yet you are worry about your diet plan.

First you need to know that we all cheat! Dont feel guilty or panic instead try to make new changes that help you to be back on track!

Don't Skip Meals

Dot skip meals in order to lower calories intake as skipping meals will result in feeling hungry and increase consumption of food later on.

Keep Track of Something and Reset Your Goals

People who keep track their calories intake are more likely to have successful weight loss plan. You may need to track sodium, fat and carbs intake.

Make a Plan

You need to plan your meals ahead based on your daily needs of calories, salt, fat and carbs. You may have a high fiber meal like cereals with fruits and nuts. You can have a fresh salad at lunch. Let your dinner be light as you! It must be low fat-protein like grilled chicken or fish with mixed of stewed vegetables!

Give Your Body a Break from Highly Processed and Junk Foods

Processed and junk food are high in fat and carbs while low in fiber and nutrients. Opt for fresh (or frozen) fruits and vegetables, and choose fresh, lean poultry, fish and meat instead of processed sausage, hot dogs, and lunch meats.

Dump the Sugary Drinks

Drinks offer you only calories with no nutritional benefits. Watch your alcohol intake as calories from alcohol can add up quickly and replace it with non calorie drink like water with lemon. Low-fat milk and 100-percent fruit or vegetable juices are healthy beverages, too. Don't forget to keep track of the calories or sodium.

Get Active Again

Exercise aids in weight loss by burning extra calories, and it can improve your mood, which may help you deal with cravings.

Have Some Wiggle Room

You can have a small room for treats as diet are sometimes restrictive. Allocate 100 to 150 calories per day for treats or snacks. You'll have to watch your portion sizes because a typical candy bar has 250 to 400 calories and a bag of chips may have up to 200 calories.
