How to get rid of visceral fat: Four foods to eat to help you reduce the harmful belly fat
We all know that visceral fat is more dangerous than other types as it is close to many vital organs like stomach, heart and liver.
The recommendations become very clear you need to be more cautious about what you eat and you need to add healthy food while removing unhealthy ones.
One simple tip is to decrease amount of sugar while having adequate protein.
Why protein?
Protein improves satiety and slow digestion, it is less likely linked to visceral fat.
Cottage cheese :one cup (226g) of cottage cheese with two per cent fat contains 27g of protein.
Broccoli :one cup (96g) of chopped broccoli has 3g of protein.
Lentils: one cup (198g) of boiled lentils contains 18g of protein
Peanuts one ounce (28g) has 7g of protein
Other diet changes you should consider making to help get rid of visceral fat are:
· You need to cut back on sweetened beverages and sugar
· You need to lower intake of refined carbs
· You need to have adequate intake of fiber and complex carbs
Exercise is another step to reduce risk of visceral fat, dot focus on spot reduction as it is impossible as we lose weight from all of our body.
