Introduction:

We all know that word fat is linked to obesity, inactivity, heart disease and diabetes type 2. But not all fat are equal as healthy fat are a must to be included to your diet and regimen especially if you have type 2 diabetes.


Healthy fats has been linked to lower risk of heart disease, weight loss, improve overall health and controlled diabetes type 2.


According to studies including healthy fats has been linked to improve insulin sensitivity so let us know the three-healthy food to add them to your diet.


Avocado

They are rich in MUFA that has been linked to lower LDL level and high HDL level, in addition avocados are rich in vitamins, minerals and fiber that slow digestion and control blood sugar.


Nuts and seeds

Almonds, cashew nuts, peanuts, etc. are great healthy fat options to be included into your diet. Just do in moderation as portions are easily under-estimated.


Olives

Olives are great source of MUFA and adding to the diet may control blood sugar and prevent risk of diabetes type 2.
