It prevents type 2 diabetes by keep your blood sugar steady and fighting inflammation but more research is needed
It fight a lot of viruses including flue and herpes; so sipping turmeric tea maybe helpful. Because curcumin consists only 3% of turmeric and cannot be absorbed by your body this cup of tea cannot cure you.
It could relieve from muscle cramps in PMS symptoms.
It is may be helpful in lowering LDL and protect from heart attack in people with bypass surgery but more studies are needed.
Anti-inflammatory effects help in lowering Alzheimer disease but no evidence supporting this effect.
It has ability to ease joints, stiffness and inflammation so to lower symptoms of arthritis but more studies are needed. If you choose to use it to treat joint consume along with black pepper.
It stopped growth of cancer cells, helps detoxifying enzymes and more but turmeric can interfere with chemotherapy so more research is needed.
It reduce symptoms of IBS, Crohns disease and colitis.
It reduces migraines and headache but few supporting data exist.
It reduces acne due to its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effect but no supporting evidence exist.
