Things to stop doing when you're on a low-carb diet

Following a low carbs diet is not always easy and it seems difficult at beginning. But it worth it when you see weight changes over months. So if you are on a low carbs diet try to avoid these 10 bad habits to make better results.

Stop drinking sugary drinks:

Sugary drinks are number one to avoid as they are rich in sugar and fructose and then weight gain and fat deposition will results. Instead, try water or herbal drinks and tea. You can try any type of tea and always add unsweetened substitutes.


Stop going hungry:

Always avoid hunger and try to feed yourself will full filling food that keeps you satisfy the whole day. Forget the word diet and start thinking positively.


Stop being afraid of eating fat:

You should find strategies to ignore unhealthy fat and instead choose the healthy one or at least try to do something else when cravings make you scared.


Stop eating same food everyday:

Avoid boring food and try to have variety of food in your diet plan; this is way let you feel better and more fresh.


Stop relying on low carbs junk food:

Low-carb bars and packets of snack foods have their place—when traveling, for example. But there are drawbacks to making them a part of our everyday diet. For one thing, people tend to have highly variable blood sugar reactions to many of these products. Eating lots of artificially-sweetened foods is an example as they tend to make us keep believing that foods are supposed to be that highly-sweetened.


Stop browsing the cereals, cookies and crackers aisles:

Try to avoid cookies and crackers aisles and always stick to your shopping list whenever you go to the shops or supermarket. A good idea is to write shopping list before you go to markets to avoid temptation.


Stop shorting yourself on sleep:

Lack of sleep and other kinds of stress tend to kick off cortisol and other stress hormones that mess with our blood sugar. Stress reactions of the body tend to increase appetite, which we certainly don't need.


Stop freaking out about diet studies in the news

Stop seeing types of diet in news, from your friends or co-workers always try what is suitable for your body. Low carbs diet maybe suitable for your friend but you may need only low caloric diet to reach your goals.


Stop trying to follow the diet that works for your neighbour

Diet is a suit that fits your body only! Don’t try your neighbour or cousins diet as it is not suitable. Everybody needs special diet as it has special needs.
