Introduction:
In order to build muscles and improve strengthen you should focus on protein intake that is what we always hear. But when it comes to the fact protein is not the most important macronutrient for building muscles! It seems strange but let us know why?
0.5-0.8 grams/pound is the amount of protein you need and it can be easily consumed throughout the day and on meals.
But another important macronutrients is carbs when they are important to boost energy for workout as your intake of carbs is low you feel tired and fatigue while you are exercising.
In addition to energy, carbs help your body to break down protein that is important for muscle growth so as your intake of carbs is low your body can not break down and use protein.
What Your Macro Breakdown Should Be For Muscle Gain
The best diet is high in carbs, low in protein and fat. In general you need a general macronutrient distribution like 55 percent carbs, 25 percent protein, and 20 percent fat in order to build muscles.
Don’t be afraid of carbs but enjoy whole carbs like quinoa and add banana to milk shake.
