These Teas Help Balance Your Blood Sugar
Sometimes you may not notice spikes in blood sugar until you are diagnosed with diabetes. You need to know that spikes in blood sugar affects your energy level so you will feel fatigue and bad mood.
In order to control you blood sugar you need first to cut back on processed and refined carbs, exercise regularly, include fibre rich food and finally drinking special types of teas.
1. OOLONG TEA
This tea is made by partially fermenting the same leaves used to make both green and black tea. Due to its caffeine content it boosts both energy and alertness.
In recent years, it has been used to treat obesity and control blood sugar in diabetes.
According to studies drinking 6 cups may lower blood sugar.
2. GREEN TEA
Green tea is used for weight loss and it contains Polyphenon E, a green tea polyphenol, can improve gut health and consequently lower blood sugar levels.
You need to drink green tea daily as it improves skin health and fightdepression.
3. BLACK TEA
The three types of teas: green, black and oolong are from the same plant but they diffre in the fermentation process.
Leaves for black tea are fully fermented, while leaves for oolong tea are partially fermented. Leaves for green tea are not fermented.
According to studies drinking black teas after meals may lower blood sugar.
4. PU-ERH TEA
This tea is special because, like wine, it gets better with age. Some pu-erh teas are more than 50 years old. But you may not want to go for the aged ones, unless you want to spend thousands of dollars.
According to studies this tea lowers both LDL cholesterol and blood sugar.
5. SAGE TEA
It contains powerful antioxidants and according to studies it lowers total cholesterl and blood sugar.
6. BILBERRY TEA
According to animal studies bilberry extract lowers blood sugar levels in diabetic mice.

You need to know that all of these teas have no magical effect so you need to balance your food intake and then use them to control blood sugar.
