Tea is among the popular drinks among the world and it can contribute to your overall fluid needs. You can drink it cold or warm.


But tea contains caffeine and may cause dehydration.


Caffeine is diuretic and it can cause you to urine more frequently thus affecting your hydration status.


Black, green, white, and oolong teas contain caffeine, which may affect your hydration status. Besides a few exceptions, most herbal teas don’t contain caffeine and are generally considered hydrating.


Tea in general dont cause dehydration but overconsumption like 8 cups can cause dehydration.
