Introduction:
Drinking sodas and carbonated beverages on a regular daily basis can increase your weight so if you are planning to lose weight one small change can make a big difference which is stop drinking sodas.

Beverages like sodas and carbonated ones are high in sugars and calories and thus adding to your waistline rather than this regular and mindless drinking add more weight.

Even if you stop drinking sodas, you may consume other sugary drinks. Those drinks provide many calories and sugars just like sodas.
Sports drinks are full of calories and sugar and this is really important to overcome the caloric deficit after exercise. An athlete in endurance exercise need potassium and sodium that they can benefit from sports drinks but rather they can make their own fluid at home by adding 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and pinch of salt to a cup of water.
Juices are another example of high caloric beverages that provide calories from natural sugar in fruits but don’t provide the same benefits like whole fruits.
Some juices like apple, white grape, and pear juices have low nutritional value. In the other hand orange juice, purple grape, cranberry, and tomato juice have high nutritional value. Vegetable juices like tomato and fruit juices like cranberry have low sugar content.
Benefits after stopping sodas:
Cut back your sodas intake has been related to man benefits not only weight loss, low sugar but also other benefits on your overall health. Studies have suggested that when you stop sodas you may have better sleep, Better dental health, improved energy (especially if you replace your soda with water), reduced risk of type 2 diabetes, improved heart health and/or blood pressure, decreased risk of osteoporosis and decreased anxiety or nervousness.
Weight loss and sodas:
These numbers below may increase your motivation level and enhance your ability to stop drinking sodas: if you replace your daily 12-ounce can of Coke with water every day, you save 52,560 calories per year or about 15 pounds in a year which is a great weight goal that many people aim to reach it.
Replacing sodas with diet type:
Many people think that this strategy results in less caloric intake and sugar but the fact is a little bit shocking because diet beverages and drinks have calories too and may cause health problems.
How to stop drinking sodas:
First, you may shift toward diet types and then you may increase water intake while you are decreasing your sodas intake
