Introduction:

The gut environment in the human body has different bacteria that are beneficial for both human and bacteria.

The gut environment can be affected by the food we eat especially food high in chemical additives that are related to certain types of diseases.

Ultra-processed food is made using extracts such as sugar, added from food constituents or made in the laboratory.

These foods like fast food which are made for extra taste and still remain cost-effective for patients.

Ultra-processed food like sodas, sugary food, and buns etc…

Some processed food like canned food, salted meat, and others.

The relation between the gut and brain is due to serotonin receptors in the gut. Antidepressants medications have gut-related symptoms like nausea, diarrhea, and gastrointestinal problems.

IBS syndrome, obesity, metabolic disease, asthma may occur as a result of a bacterial imbalance between bad and good ones.

Studies suggest that well-balanced diet improves mood while decreasing consumption of food-producing inflammation is important.

Today I will mention 12 foods for prevention and treatments of depression, you can find these nutrients in salmon, oysters, spinach, lettuce, strawberries and cauliflower and more…

Diet is considered as a part of depression treatment and is not beneficial in advanced stages.

For a healthier gut you may eat:

  • Whole food and avoid processed food

  • Increase whole fruit and decrease juices

  • Increase fiber intake

  • Increase intake of probiotic-rich food

  • Oatmeal with yogurt and fruit instead of sugary breakfast

  • Add fermented food to your diet

  • Balanced seafood while decreasing red meat
