The Best Foods for Stress-Free Sleep
We have all experienced difficulty in sleep maybe due to the busy mind or cup of alert espresso. Some natural food may help you to fall asleep due to their nutrients content. Let us know them together.
Raw cacao:
Cacao is rich in magnesium which is related to muscle relaxation and you may benefit from it to have good sleep. You must know that Bottom of Formcacao has more caffeine than its roasted cocoa. While the caffeine content of cacao is still very small, if you’re ultra-caffeine sensitive, this may not be the best food to have at bedtime.
CBD/hemp oil:
CBD was used due to its sleep boosting benefits, as it is a powerful pain and anxiety reducer. So it can be used in case of overthinking and it ma y helps you to fall asleep.
Note that hemp oil is naturally high in CBDs and low in THC, so if you can’t find dedicated CBD oils near you, hemp oil still comes with a spectrum of similar benefits—and you can easily find it in your local health food store.
Raw honey:
Raw honey improves the brain’s uptake of tryptophan, that sleepy amino acid that is famously found in Thanksgiving turkey and cows’ milk.
Tryptophan is used by the body at night to produce melatonin the hormone that signal the brain to shut down.
You can increase benefit of raw honey by adding tryptophan-rich plant cashews, almond or soy milk, or chia seeds.
At night the brain uses glycogen from liver for energy. Your brain taps your liver glycogen before hitting your muscle glycogen (stored sugar in your muscles), so having a little extra sugar before bed can help your brain function better at night. Raw honey is used by the brain for energy and keep liver glycogen at stock.
