Mangosteen is an excotic tropical fruit orignated mainly in Southeast Asia but you can find it in various tropical regions. It has slightly sweet and sour taste.


It has a purple color and has inner white juicy.


Tis fruit is rich in fiber, anitoxidant and many nutrients that improve overall health.


Here are 11 health benefits of mangosteen.


Mangosteen provides a variety of essential vitamins, minerals, and fiber while being low in calories. These nutrients are important for improving many functions in the body.


Moreover, mangosteen is rich with many antioxidants called as xanthones which lower colon cancer according to many animal studies but more human studies are needed.


Plant compounds and fibre in magosteen have anti-inflammatroy properties and lower blood sugar according to animal studies, more human studies are needed to detect the effect of this fruit in lowering inflammation.


Mangosteen may boost immunity by increasing the number of immune cells.
