You hear lots of advice from many sources about what it takes to live well and keep your body in good working order. Sorting out what that means for you could seem like an overwhelming task. Let's break it down into a few simple, easy-to-remember ways for adults to stay on a healthy path.


Become a flexitarian.

Go for semi-vegetarian diet to get health benefits as lower risk of cancer, diabetes type-2 and lower risk of cancer.


Expand your palate's palette.

Mixing vegetables and fruits to maximize health benefits. Enjoy a colourful plate throughout the day.


Less sugar, more water.

Sodas, sports drinks and energy drinks are major source of sugar so avoiding them is a good idea as they were linked to heart attacks, gout, and obesity. Stay hydrated with water or, if you miss the fizz and taste, naturally flavoured seltzer.


Move more, sit less.

Moving in any activity is better than just sitting the whole day. Try to follow physical activity plan to get more benefits. A general recommendation is 150 minutes per week of moderate exercise.


Get enough rest.

Sleep is a must for good health. Chronic sleep deprivation raises the odds for heart disease, diabetes, stroke, obesity, and many other sicknesses. If you don't usually wake up feeling refreshed, try slipping into bed 15 minutes earlier every week until you do.


Tame your stress.

Exercise, meditation, or laughing with good friends are good strategies to deal with stress. Whenever you feel over helmed you may consult a doctor.


Wash your hands.

Small changes makes the big ones. Don’t overwhelmed yourself with a lot of healthy goals instead try to make smarter choices with small lifestyle changes.


Don't go it alone.

Find always a good partner in exercise or in regular visits to your doctor. Don’t do it alone as supportive environment is really important.
