Hypertension can be caused by smoking, regularly drinking large amounts of alcohol and lack of exercise. Moreover, unhealthy eating pattern is linked to unhealthy eating diet.
Salt in food increases blood pressure, so as your intake increase your blood pressure increases. The salt intake should be kept around 1 teaspoon of salt daily.
As a part of healthy diet, carrot juice is recommended to lower blood pressure. The benefit of carrot juice is linked to potassium content. The potassium lower blood pressure by balancing out the negative effects of salt.
Your kidneys help to control your blood pressure by controlling the amount of fluid stored in your body. The more fluid, the higher your blood pressure.
How salt affect blood pressure?
As eating salt raises the amount of sodium in blood, it impair the ability of kidney to balance fluid and to remove excess water. In the other hand by eating more fruit and vegetables, you will increase your potassium levels and as a result it will restore fluid balance.
