Don’t go too long without eating
If you go too long without consuming food this can lead to low blood sugar, dizziness, fatigue and sugar cravings. So try to eat three regular meals with two snacks at regular interval to crub appetite and include more protein, fats and fibre to feel full and to keep blood sugar under control.
Eat colourful fiber-rich foods
High fibre diets protect against heart disease, type 2 diabetes, cancer and obesity. Unfortunatly many people dont get enough fiber so try to include more fruits, vegetables and whole grains as they are rich in fiber and phytochemicals that works as antioxidants.
Including more colorful fruits and vegetables to get more nutrients and to save money buy them frozen as they can have same nutritional profile.
Exercise in a way that feels good
Try to find exercise that fits your daily routine, be sustainable and choose one you enjoy. Exercise has been shown to improve both mental and physical health. You may choose strength type exercise, yoga or even you choose to go for a walk with your friend or even dog.
Make room for social time
Research has shown that social connection improves physical health and psychological well-being. Spending quality time with others has also been linked to improved immunity, lower rates of anxiety and depression, improved self-esteem and a decreased risk of mortality. You can meet your friend at the gym or have a meal preperation together.
