Losing weight is helpful as you have more visceral fat to be lost. When your weight drop, fat from all places drop too especially in belly area.


Be Choosy About Fat

Look for good fat high in omega-3 instead of saturated fat, control your portion size and watch your caloric intake while you are reading carefully nutritional label


Stop Trying to Outrun It

Having high intensity exercise for 30 seconds maybe helpful in burning your belly fat!


Sleep: the Goldilocks Formula

Sleeping less than 5 hours and more than 8 hours can be dangerous as it increase weight gain. Instead have a steady sleep for 6-8 hours is a good option.


Forget a ‘Quick Fix’

Crash diet or plastic surgery: liposuction are not the real solution as they don’t reach visceral fat instead go for a whole lifestyle changes.


Keep Calm

Try to control your emotions and stress. As stressful lifestyle increase fat and sugar consumption, exercise less and increased alcohol intake. As a result fat deposition in your belly.


Rethink Your Drink

Watch your drinks intake as sodas, alcohol and juices are really high in sugar and calories and it is quickly adding in your belly. Water is the best drink. Don’t drink your calories, eat them!

Quitting smoking is really important as smoking add more fat to your belly. In addition, it is related to lung cancer, diabetes and heart disease.


Don’t Rely on Clothing Sizes

Clothes size is not accurate in measuring visceral fat loss. Instead weight scale with tape measure can give better result. Women should have a waist of 35 inches or less while men should have a waist of 40 inches or less.


Lift Weights

Strength type exercise help you gain less visceral fat. They are good for women too in addition to cardio type.
