Weight loss concept has never change despite commercial ads that make it easy. The idea remains the same burn more calories than you eat; it is not only about exercise or eating green salad it is a real lifestyle changing habits.
Your attitude
You need motivation other than weight loss only to reach your goals. You may think about exercise benefits, good changes or even improved sleep pattern. For me I suggest to write down succeed goals as they make me more motivated to achieve what is next.
Workouts:
If you don’t exercise, it is difficult to lose weight, or even you may lose weight while you hit a plateau. I t is not about killing yourself with intensive schedule but at least keep yourself moving. It is recommended to have 150 minutes of moderate intensity exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous type exercise. Aerobic are recommend as 10 minutes interval.
Diet:
Diet is the major point when it comes to weight loss. You cannot lose weight without caloric deficit diet. You should learn how to choose healthy food, understand portion size, read labels, cooking tips and know how to replace bad habits with good ones. Diet it is not temporary choice it is permanent when whole lifestyle should remain longer to reach your goal. Always remember 3500 calories deficit will result in 1 pound loss.
Lifestyle
You can manage lifestyle habits by changing unhealthy ones in another word: exercise more, wakeup earlier and try to manage stressful life events without food. Watch how you spend your free time and replace bad habits with active habits. Finally, always clean the surroundings from food as food are not resistible.
Environment
Comfort and supportive environment in your home is just the beginning toward changing habits. Remove unhealthy food, having exercise video game or even journals instead of snacking on film is the best choice.
Support Systems
Try to support yourself with motivators and healthy people who can be a real model and support you to reach your goals. Enjoy online community or even people at gym so that you can empower yourself and you will never go back.
Mental Health
Many problems can be a reason for weight gain like depression. So whenever you have mental problem you may seek for help from cognitive and behavioural professionals.
Goals
Failure never motivate people. Whenever you have tried weight loss plan and don’t have result; ignore what you have faced and set new reasonable, long term and achievable goals. Try to set weekly or daily goals like three times cardio exercise.
Inflexibility
Always being flexible in another word facing your situation to be always active. If you don’t have time to do your workout of 45 minutes it is okay do it for 10 minutes. Don’t skip your lifestyle habits just because you face a problem. Don’t give up and always remember to stick to your goals.
Unwillingness to Fail
We are not perfect, someday we are happy others we are not. Always remember that we are not complete and we do mistakes and this is not false because failure don’t come from small mistakes. Remember while you are happy to stick to your goals, eating fruits, move more and eating less unhealthy food. Don’t give up always follow your goals and dreams. It is here from inside you the beginning.
