Introduction:
Due to cool weather people with medical conditions like blood pressure, heart disease, and diabetes may have problems. People with type two diabetes may have uncontrolled blood sugar due to increase food intake and less exercise so sticking to fitness plan become difficult. So as fruits and vegetables are rich in minerals, vitamins, antioxidant and fibre including them to your daily routine can help in regulating blood sugar.
Brussels sprouts
It is low glycaemic index vegetables, it controls blood sugar as it is high in fibre. It is most abundant in fall and winter season.
Winter Squash
Or butternut squash is high in potassium and fibre. It regulates blood pressure and blood sugar.
Sweet potatoes:
Unlike sugary carbs, it is rich in fibre and beta carotene. It helps in regulating blood sugar and weight loss.
Oranges:
Oranges, lime and grapefruit are superfood for diabetes. They have low glycaemic index and can be including in the diet as a safe way.
Guava
It has low glycaemic index and rich in fibre so it regulates your blood sugar and can be added to your winter plates.
