Heart disease is where the blood vessels that supply the heart with blood narrow, increasing the risk of a heart attack or a stroke.


New studies have been shown that people who drink one-two cans of artificially sweetened beverages daily have three times of getting stroke and heart disease than people who don’t consume. Moreover according to the AHASA that early death is 16% higher for those who consume diet drinks than those who don’t.


While sugar-free options had been thought to be a healthier option, there has been research in the past to suggest diet drinkers end up drinking more as the brain doesn’t receive the same hunger satiety signals and blood sugar feedback.


Moreover, any research want to evaluate health risks associated with diet, he must look at the overall diet not on one diet only like sugar or sweets. As health problems are associated with poor diet and sedentary lifestyle
