5 home remedies to lower your blood sugar naturally - Fenugreek, tea, Aloe vera and other kitchen hacks

Diabetes is a chronic disease where there is insulin resistance or no enough insulin to control blood sugar. As a result the sugar remains in the blood and induce what we called it hyper-glycaemia. Diabetes when it is left untreated it can lead to serious complications affecting major organs like kidney, nerves and foot. While you need to have a well-balanced diet that exclude table sugar you need to add some key ingredients to keep blood sugar under control.


Fenugreek

It is used to control blood sugar due to its high fiber content and it works by slow carbs digesting thus resulting in controlled blood sugar. A spoon of fenugreek seeds consumed with warm water in the morning can also help in weight loss – which reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes.


Carom seeds

A mix made with neem, cumin powder and warm milk with carom seeds is great t control blood sugar. Consume this remedy regularly to see considerable results.


Cinnamon

Studies have been shown that consumption of cinnamon is related to controlled blood sugar. Fasting blood sugar reduced considerably in subjects who consumed cinnamon as opposed to those who did not.


Aloe vera

It is known to be good for skin hair and body too. A study was found that Aloe Vera due to its phytosterol compounds from aloe vera gel can reduce blood sugar and glycosylated haemoglobin levels.


Tea

Due to its polyphenol aspalathin, it can help in regulating symptoms of type 2 diabetes, balance blood sugar levels and help in fighting insulin resistance.
