Nuts:

It helps in maintaining a healthy digestive system, thus contributing a lot to a diabetic body. You can add cinnamon to salad, juices or fruit infused into water as it enhance aroma and taste. Chia seeds are superfood, they have high content of fiber, antioxidant and omega-3 which play a role in lowering inflammation and blood sugar. In addition, it contains proteins and calcium that helps in lowering blood fat levels. Chia seeds keep you satisfied and energized. You enjoy them with your cup of yogurt or with salad and soups.
