Ceylon tea is popular due to its flavor and aroma and it is produced in Sri Lanka. With difference in terms of antioxidant and nutrient, ceylon tea come from the same plant as other types of tea.


Ceylon tea is high in anti-oxidant and little amount of caffeine and trace minerals.


Several studies have been shown that drinking tea especially green type has been linked with burning fat and weight loss.


Consumption of tea has been linked with lower blood sugar among diabetic patients.


Moreover, certain studies have been shown that variety of ceylon tea lower LDL cholesterol and triglycerides.


Caffeine consumption has been linked to side effects like anxiety, insomnia, high blood pressure, and digestive issues.


Considering pregnant women it is recommended to limit consumpotion of caffeine to less than 200 mg daily to prevent risk of miscarriage or low birth weight.


Caffeine can also interact with certain medications, including those for heart conditions and asthma, as well as stimulants and certain antibiotics.


It is easy to make your ceylon tea at home you just need to combine hot water with tea leaves and allow it to steep for around three minutes.
