It is recommended to have 7-9 hours of sleep daily.
Tips to help you lose weight and burn belly fat while you sleep
Never go to sleep hungry
Feeling hungry before going to the bed can interfere with the quality of your sleep so try to eat a meal before 2 hours of going to the bed.
Do not eat a big meal right before bedtime
Late night eating before sleeping has been linked with obesity and heart disease. In addition consumption of large meal cause spike in blood sugar and insulin. It can interfere with digestion and both quality and quantity of sleep.
Eat a small snack of cottage cheese before bed
Choose lean protein like cottage cheese which contain tryptophan an amino acid responsible for secretion of serotonin hormone which is responsible for sleeping. Insomnia has been linked with energy-misbalance and weight gain.
A cup of herbal tea
Herbal tea is important before going to the bed to feel relaxed. Herbal teas - such as chamomile tea, ginger tea and peppermint tea - aren’t just calming choices for bedtime but are also great for losing weight.
Pre-slumber resistance training
Doing resistance training can help you burn belly fat effectively by triggering production of fat-burning hormones.
Getting enough sleep is really important for weight loss in addition to diet and exercise.
