You need to know which juice is loaded with nutrients while others are loaded with calories and sugar.
Let's begin...
First:
Vegetable juices are the best choice. For example, lycopene tomato juice lowers prostate cancer, beet juice curbs blood pressure. Pulpy vegetables, add fiber and curb hunger. In addition, it provides low fat, low calories, low sugar but more nutrients
Second:
Cocktail juice is a worse one when real food is too little and high fructose corn syrup is added which make it similar to soft drinks when caloric content is high in addition to sugar and nutrients are low.
Third:
100% fruit juice, which is loaded with vitamin C and potassium but too many juices means more sugar and calories and low in phytonutrients
Fourth:
Pomegranate juice is high in sugar and calories but rich in antioxidant and loaded with nutrients
Fifth:
Unsweetened cranberry juice; prevents urinary tract infection and rich in vitamin C which boosts immunity
Sixth:
Red grapes juice is good for the heart as it is high in flavonoids, resveratrol but you will not get enough fiber
Seven:
Prune juices, relieves constipation and it is a good source of fiber, laxatives called sorbitol, in addition to antioxidant, iron, and potassium
Eight:
Orange juice; is loaded with vitamin C, some are fortified with calcium and vitamin D, the unsweetened type is low in calories, sugar and high in antioxidant
Nine:
Kids juices: AAP recommends no more than 4-6 ounces of juice for children younger than 6 years old and 8-12 ounces of ages 7-18. Dilute it with water to get less sugar
Finally:
Go whole where skin, pulp, and seeds add more benefits to your health
