Definition:
Beet sugar is made from the sugar of beet plant. It is a type of refined sugar along with cane sugar.Beet sugar does not involve the use of bone char or coal-based activated carbon, which can be used to bleach and filter cane sugar.
Beet sugar and cane sugar they work differently in recipes and have some differences in taste.Both sugar are rich in sucrose which is harmful and add potential effects to health.
Beet sugar is genetically modified while cane sugar is not GMO.
Conclusion:
Beet and cane sugar differ slightly in taste and may work differently in cooking and baking.Still, some may prefer cane sugar as it’s less likely to contain GMO ingredients.
Moderation is the key, both types contain sucrose which is harmful to human health.
