Bloated stomach pain: One popular spice could be the reason for your stomach bloating pain

Bloating may result after consumption of large meal or after consumption of food that are hard to be digested. Junk food are related to bloated-stomach moreover some healthy ingredients may cause bloating as they are difficult to be digested; one spice and ingredient is garlic.

Garlic is very beneficial ingredient used to lower cholesterol leve, blood pressure and regulate blood sugar. In addition, garlic was used as natural antibiotic.

However many people are sensitive to garlic and can have bloating after consumption. This is due to the fermentable oligo-di-mono-saccharides and polyols, aka FODMAPs, which are types of carbohydrates found in certain foods.

The FODMAP in garlic is fructan, which is not easily broken down and absorbed by the gut. As it passes into the gut and contact with gut bacteria it can produce gas and fluid.

The result could be bloating - anything from mild discomfort all the way through to sharp bursts of intense pain, and diarrhoea or constipation.

Moreover, increases in stress, antibiotics, painkillers and processed food can contribute to people becoming intolerant to certain foods.

Good bacteria in the gut protects both digestive and immune system. But antibiotics affects both your good bacteria and your bad bacteria.Processed food can also damage your gut, particularly additives found in things like bread.
