Weight loss is not meant to be restrictive or a punishement instead you need to simply follow a well balanced diet with a healthy lifestyle. So let us today mention some diet rules that you should not break.


1. Dont cut carbs!

You have heard alot stop eating carbs as they are your enemy but this result only in weight loss over short term but if your goals are consistent and you need to maintain your weight loss over-time than you must change your whole lifstyle. You need to eat whole grains, stop when you feel full at 80% and keep your meals regular.


2. Keep Your Meals Small

You dont need to care about mea frequency instead focus on the quality and quantity of food. Try always to choose what fit your lifestyle. Some people go for three meals only while others choose six small meals. This depends on you only! Both choices are healthy.


3. Protein Powder Is Only For Muscle Gain

Protein powder is good while you are on a training session in addition protein keeps you full for longer period of time so rely on it.


4. Be Wary of Supplements

According to some research omega-3 could fight cortisol hormone which responsible for fat storage. Always consult your dotor before using any supplement.


5. Diet and Exercise Are All That Matters

Weight loss diet is not restricted to calories and exercise only instead there are so many factors that can really affect weight loss process. For example, not getting enough sleep increase appetite and slow metabolsim so make sure to get enough sleep around 8 hours.


6. Snack More Often

Snacks help you to curb hunger and feel full for longer period. Be wise while choosing snacks as they can pack calories as a regular meals. I recommend fruits and nuts as daily snacks.


7. You Must Spend Hours Exercising

You need to stay active as exercise makes about 20% of weight loss plan. You need to exercise 5 days weekly for 150 minutes of moderat intensity exercise.


8. You Need to Join a Gym

Most of us are busy and we have full works schedule which make joiing a gym impossible but this does not matter either your perform at home or at gym what really matters if you are moving or not.


9. Drink More Liquids

You need to stay always hydrated while you are on a weight loss diet. Water is zero calorie drink and it boosts metabolism. Make sure to hear thirst cues and to drink about 2-2.5 liters of water daily.


10. Don’t Enjoy Your Food

You need to eat slowly and to enjoy your food according to studies, this way reduce hunger and improve satiety feeling.
