What should you drink this evening for better health and weight loss?

Both tea and coffee have health benefits that need to be appreciated. However, one of the two drinks should be chosen over the other. Find out which one to drink for weight loss and more antioxidants.

When it comes to tea or coffee choice in the morning; it is easy for people who already know if they are tea or coffee lover.


If you are also one of those people who would just stand in the kitchen and try to choose whether to drink coffee or tea this evening, here is an insight and a comparison between both for you to make the better choice. Read on to know what you should be drinking today which not only refreshes you but also is healthy for your body.


Caffeine:

Tea contains more caffeine that in coffee but when tea is brewed the amount of caffeine will be lower than in coffee. Caffeine is essential for an energy boost required for a long day at work or otherwise, but an excess can cause troubles in concentration and sleep, and even panic attacks. When you are trying to control your caffeine intake, tea is the way to go.


Antioxidants

Green tea and other types of tea has a lot of antioxidant and they work as detox drink whole coffee contains antioxidant but in much lower amount that is present in tea.


Reduce sugar

Two to three cups of coffee daily has been linked with a reduced risk of diabetes type two. Magnesium present in coffee also helps in the reduction of sugar levels. Though tea has other health benefits, coffee wins for diabetic people.


Weight loss

It is important to understand which drink would boost your metabolism and help you in weight loss. First if you are gym lover and you have regular workout it is better to choose black coffee or espresso as it boosts your metabolism and help you in burning calories.


But if you choose weight loss plan at home you may choose black tea.


Quantities

How many cups should I drink of each drink? The answer depends on caffeine content and as coffee has double amount of caffeine so you should drink less coffee than tea. As average you may have 4 cups of tea and two cups for coffee.


Finally:

You can choose one of the two drinks according to your lifestyle. If you are working in office or behind that desk it is better to choose caffeine while it gives you energy and keep you powerful throughout heavy work day but if you choose to stay at home you may choose warm cup of tea to keep you refresh.
