You need to stay healthy and follow a well balanced diet to lose weight and remain healthy but sometimes over-thinking about diet and this will over-do on healthy habits unfortunately the result will be detrimental effect.

So let us discuss some habits we are over-doing.

First point is cutting carbs. Well many keto dieters tend to influence other follower to cut on carbs intake; this could be positive fro the side of white and refined grains but you are missing fiber and whole grains. Rleying on restrictive diet would result on binge eating and weight gain. You just need to be on a well balanced diet to lose weight.

Secondly, exercise too hard and too fast could result in injury. I am with movement and active lifestyle but remember to start always with small step at slow pace. According to the CDC you need to exercise 150 minutes-300 minutes weekly of low intensity exercise or 75-150 minutes of vigerous intensity. Remember, you need to have different type of exercise stretching, cardio and strength types.

Thirdly, avoiding gluten. This is not necessary if you dont have any gluten sensitivty by omitting gluten products you are missing alot of nutrients so instead try to focus on healthy food like fruits, vegetables and whole grains.

Fourthly, fasting is not a solution. And, yes, research has shown that intermittent fastng could result in weight managment but it's not as simple as many think. Skipping meals will result in slow metabolic rate.

Fifthly, going vegan. Many people nowadays are going vegan just as a trend but this is not the best solution. Vegan or vegeterian diet need to be well planned as it misses alot of nutrients and especially vitamin B12.

Sixth point is drinking too much water. I mean you are over-doing and for sure i am with drinking enough water for appropriate hydration but over-drinking will result in hyponatremia.

Seven point is to get over-exposed to sunlight. Sun exposure is really important to get vitamin D but in fact you just need about 10-30 minutes exposure to get needed dose. Otherwise, you get only sunburns.

Finally, getting too much sleep. You need to sleep well for a better health but no ore than 8 hours. Too much sleeping result in chronic diseases, reduced mental health and inflammation.
