5 Popular Weight Loss Strategies that Don’t Work

Introduction:
You may follow popular diet, eat less and excericse more and suddenly the result will be weight loss failure.
Then you cut back on sugary food and include exercise more but the result is still not encouraging.
You wonder if it’s your metabolism. You wonder if it’s your genetics. You wonder if you were just born to be overweight.
The problem could weight the use of ineffective weight loss strategies. Today I will mention ineffective strategies for weight loss:

Strategy #1: Avoid Carbs to Lose Fat
You may follow a low carbs diet in order to lose weight. Carbs get bad reputation considering their relation with weight gain so you need to know that processed and refined carbs are linked to weight gain while complex carbs like quinoa, sweet potato and oats are linked to weight loss, satiety and feeling of fullness.
What to Do Instead: Just simply replace refined carbs with whole carbs that are rich in fiber and help to curb your appetite while improving weight loss plan.
Strategy #2: Use Supplements to Lose Weight
Some people use supplements in order to lose weight. Some studies have been shown that supplements may have little effect in curbing appetite and boosting metabolism. Unfortunatly, most of supplements wont result in weight loss and result in failure of goals.
What to Do Instead: Most of supplements are expensive and watse of time instead try to include healthy eating habits like drinking water before meals, including plant-protein based food or simply enjoying a healthy breakfast and you will see great results and overall health improvement.
Strategy #3: Exercise More to Lose Weight
You dont need to do long workout in order to lose weight. We all agree that exercise is important for building muscles, boosting metabolism and keeps you energetic. But you dont need to spend many hours instead you need to stay active and keep moving.
What to Do Instead: Instead of doing long workouts three or four times a week, do short workouts every day. Short workouts can be extremely rewarding if they have the right exercises and are performed at high intensity. More importantly, they don’t require a lot of willpower or motivation. You can do them even when you’re feeling lazy and unmotivated.
Strategy #4: Go Vegan to Lose Weight Automatically
Going vegan is important in order to improve your overall health but this doesnt mean you will lose weight just because you become vegan instead you need to know that you must avoid processed food and create a calorie deficit to lose weight.
Keep in mind you need to read label carefully as some vegan product are junk food.
What to Do Instead: Whatever if the reason you choose to become vegan you need to know that healthy choices are important to be on the safe side.
Strategy #5: Eat Many Small Meals to Lose Weight
Top publications recommend small meals consumption in order to lose weight, boost metabolism and feeling full. The fact is not like that.
What to Do Instead: You need to pay attention to the food you consume and the amount of calories rather than meal timing. Always remember what really matters is creating calorie deficit.
You need to follow a real diet and strategies that result in calorie deficit and then weight loss instead of just following useless weight loss strategies even they are popular dont mean they are the best.
