I want to lose weight but I find it hard and am not getting the needed and wanted results but wait maybe am doing something wrong? But what are them?

10 Things to Stop Doing If You Want to Lose Weight


Scan this list of common weight loss blunders. Almost all of us make these mistakes—or at least a few of them. Change your habits to change your weight.


1. Stop choosing the wrong diet. You cannot try any diet just because it suits your friend or simply celebrities did follow it. Always choose what suits your body and lifestyle.


Do this instead: Ask yourself five important questions about your diet history, medical background, and emotional support. The answers will specify your needs and help you to find the best diet.


2. Stop setting unrealistic goals.

Don’t expect too high t the beginning as the end will be weight gain and diet failure


Do this instead: Instead learn to set realistic and short term goas lath the beginning ounce you succeed you will set long term goals.


3. Stop using "lack of time" as an excuse.

One of the most excuses I don’t really have time to exercise but wait am not asking you to go to the gym but am simply asking you to keep moving!


Do this instead: Keep moving like using stirs instead of elevators or have a walk with your dog in the weekend or simply gardening or washing car are activities too.


4. Stop isolating yourself.

Isolating yourself will increase depression and weight loss failure as your environment will be lacking of motivation


Do this instead: Surround yourself with motivating people who encourage you in reaching your goal


5. Stop underestimating your food intake.

It is easy to get overconsumption into your daily routine even small snacks and sauces can really make difference


Do this instead: Use food tracker or food dairy just to keep watching your real intake of food, you will get surprised!


6. Stop believing that "healthy" foods will cause weight loss.

Not all food labelled as healthy are really like this. Some claims are just tracks to increase their product purchasing.


Do this instead: Read label carefully and count how many calories are per serving don’t forget amount of fat and sugar too!


7. Stop sitting all day.

Non exercise acitivity thermogenesis, or NEAT, is a fancy term for all of the non-exercise movement that you do every day. It can account for up to 15-30% of your total calorie burn. If you spend your day sitting at a desk or your evenings lying on the couch, the calories you burn from NEAT will be minimal.


Do this instead: Learn how to burn calories without exercise. Boost your NEAT all day long. If you have a desk job, get up every hour and walk to the restroom on a different floor, refill your water, run an errand on foot, or climb the stairs in your office building. If you like watching television at night, fold laundry or dust furniture instead of just lying on the couch.


8. Stop overestimating your exercise activity.

We all know that exercise is really important in weight loss but wait don’t over estimate it only counts for 20% of your weight loss plan


Do this instead: Keep heart rate monitor to count exactly how many calories are you burning


9. Stop compensating for exercise by eating more. It is normal to have increased appetite after exercise but wait you don’t need craving remember you need something that increase weight loss efficiency


Do this instead: Eat healthy food that are really important pre and post workout to build muscles and burn more calories. Don’t forget your water


10. Stop expecting major results from minimal change. What you do for your body, it will return so don’t make small changes and expect high results.


Do this instead: You need to know that weight loss is hard but it deserves it and everything need time to reach goals and wanted result. Always remember you don’t need to give up even if the result don’t suit you maybe you did a wrong step and you will fix it next time!
